Windy Knoll Memorial Sanctuary is near Lawrenceburg, Kentucky in Anderson County – less than an hour’s drive from Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, Elizabethtown and Danville.

From Lexington:

• Take Versailles Rd. west to the Bluegrass Parkway.
• Take exit 48 and turn right onto KY-53 N / Willisburg Road.
• Go 0.5 miles to Searcy School Rd. (the first left turn).
• Go 2 miles to a stop sign, then bear right onto Leathers Road.
• Continue 0.5 miles to the entrance on your right.
  The gate has a yellow “Caution: Horses” sign, and will open automatically when you drive up.

From Louisville:

• Take I-64 east to exit 53A, Lawrenceburg.
• Turn right on US-127 south (right) and proceed for 10 miles.
• Turn right on highway 62 and go 9 miles.
• Turn left on Bardstown / Mays Road (becomes Leathers Road) and proceed 3 miles to the entrance on your left.
  The gate has a yellow “Caution: Horses” sign, and will open automatically when you drive up.
